Le groupe allemand de semiconducteurs aurait l'intention de vendre ses propres actions au groupe de capital-investissement, qui détiendrait ainsi de 40% à 50% des parts. En échange, KKR vendrait NXP, l'ancienne division de semiconducteurs du néerlandais Philips, à Infineon.
